When this tool is useful

Use Business Days when a weekday count is needed and you know which holidays should be excluded from the interval.

How to use it

  1. Enter the start and end dates and decide whether the boundary convention matches your question.
  2. Add the relevant holiday dates, one per line, if the schedule excludes them.
  3. Read the count and document the supplied holiday list alongside the result.

Checks before you rely on the result

  • Saturday and Sunday are excluded; public holidays are not guessed from your location.
  • A holiday list is de-duplicated and applied to weekdays in the selected interval.
  • Contracts can define “business day” differently, so follow the governing document for consequential deadlines.
