What it does

Inserts up to 20 blank pages before a chosen page or at the end, matching the neighboring page size.

Worked example

Insert one blank page before page 2, or use the final position to append pages.

The example demonstrates the operation. For file-based tools, results depend on the selected file and options.

How the result is produced

Inserts up to 20 blank pages before a chosen page or at the end, matching the neighboring page size.

Important limits

Local processing. Maximum 50 MB per input, 100 MB total, 20 files and 2,000 total pages. Encrypted or malformed PDFs are rejected. Copying pages may omit document-level features and may invalidate digital signatures. Blank pages match the next page, or the final source page when appended.

Choosing the next step

Start with the least destructive operation that solves the job. Page organization preserves more of the source than raster compression; compression is useful for scans but can remove selectable text; flattened redaction removes the original object layer but requires you to mark every sensitive area yourself.
