How image metadata viewer works

Parses available EXIF and other supported image tags locally, including camera and location fields when present.

Try an example

A camera JPEG may contain exposure time and GPS coordinates.

Good to know

Absence of a displayed tag does not prove the file contains no metadata. Supported tags depend on ExifReader. JPG, PNG and WebP only; 25 MB and 24 megapixels maximum. Output is a single still frame; animation, source colour profiles and metadata are not preserved.

Your privacy

Processing happens on this device. We do not upload your input, put it in share links or save it to your favourites. Closing this tab discards the working input; downloaded results remain wherever you save them.
