How Flattened PDF Redaction works
Marks sensitive visible areas, paints them opaque black, then rebuilds every page as a new raster image in a fresh PDF so source text and hidden PDF objects are not copied.
Try an example
Mark a name and account number, then export a flattened copy and verify the black areas before sharing.
Good to know
Local processing. This flattened workflow supports one PDF up to 25 MB and 15 pages, subject to a 20-million-pixel rendering budget and an 80 MB output cap. It does not upload files. Not native PDF redaction. Every page becomes an image-only page; text selection/search, form fields, links, comments, attachments, signatures, accessibility structure and source metadata are discarded. The preview and export enforce pixel and canvas-size limits. Review each marked area in the exported file; LittleKit cannot determine whether you marked all sensitive content.
